FAQ

The Lights at Cambria Pines open Friday, November 27th and ends on Sunday, January 31st. It is closed December 24th and 25th.

The Cambria Christmas Market has been postponed until 2021 due to concerns about COVID-19. We have created this new, limited event, Lights at Cambria Pines, to still provide a holiday experience to our guests.

No, tickets to Lights at Cambria Pines will not be sold to the general public. The Lights at Cambria Pines will be accessible for guests staying overnight on a specialized rate at a Moonstone Hotel Property, including the Cambria Pines LodgeJ. Patrick House & Inn, and Sea Otter Inn.

The display area will have a one-way path, a reduced number of guests, and there will be increased sanitization procedures for all shared areas. Masks will be required for all employees and guests while in the light display area. In addition, the train ride, food booths, vendor booths, and other activities will not be available this year for guest safety, due to COVID-19. But don’t fret! Everything from the tunnel of lights, down to Santa’s workshop, and back up the new path will be illuminated with amazing displays. From January 3rd-January 31st, some features of this year’s experience will no longer be included.

Although the display will be a smaller footprint than normal, overnight guests will still be able to celebrate the magic of the holidays in a more intimate setting, enjoying more than two million lights, while still social distancing.

Santa will be at Lights at Cambria Pines each night, but he will be busy in his workshop so children will not be able to interact with him one-on-one. Children will still, however, be able to see into his workshop and leave their wishlists at his mailbox. After Christmas, Santa will no longer be a part of the display.
